Em carta à prefeita, Associação Comercial de Ubatuba repudia fechamento e cita “pandemia da fome”

A Associação Comercial de Ubatuba publicou em suas redes sociais, no último domingo (24/1), uma carta aberta endereçada à prefeita Flávia Pascoal, na qual repudia o decreto nº 7548, que trata da adesão à Fase Vermelha do Plano São Paulo. O manifesto cita que “fechar o comércio com as praias abertas é assinar o atestado de óbito de Ubatuba” e ressalta que diversas campanhas de orientações foram realizadas junto aos associados para que todos os procedimentos fossem adotados. O atual vice-prefeito é ex-presidente da Associação Comercial.

Prezada Senhora:
A Associação Comercial de Ubatuba vem a através da presente manifestar repúdio ao Decreto nº 7548 , publicado em 24/01/2021. A ACIU possui em seu corpo de associados os setores da iniciativa privada que mais empregam em nossa cidade; desde Março/2020 seus associados foram frontalmente atingidos pelos Decretos restritivos para o combate à pandemia pela Covid-19, seja pelo impedimento em seu funcionamento, seja pelos procedimentos adotados.
Foram realizadas, desde o início da pandemia, campanhas de esclarecimentos, orientações aos Associados, buscando contribuir com o Poder Público no combate ao avanço dessa terrível doença que assolou o mundo. Já temos uma fatura de comércios fechados, empregos perdidos e prestação de serviços canceladas. A temporada é um pequeno respiro para quem está na UTI desde Março/20.
Temos a consciência da letalidade da doença e do caos instaurado no sistema de saúde, mas não podemos instalar mais uma pandemia em nossa cidade. Estamos falando da pandemia da fome, da pobreza e da miséria que Ubatuba será colocada caso a cidade não estabeleça critérios claros de funcionamento dos mais diversos setores que geram trabalho e renda.
Fechar o Comércio com as praias abertas é declaradamente assinar o Atestado de Óbito de nossa amada Ubatuba. Queremos contribuir e dialogar com V.S.a., trazendo as propostas de nossos associados para o enfrentamento do maior desafio que nossa cidade já enfrentou.
