Lira e Pacheco dão 24 horas para Pazuello explicar agenda de vacinação

Data e quantidade de recebimento de vacinas foram alteradas

Os presidentes do Senado Federal, Rodrigo Pacheco, e da Câmara dos Deputados, Arthur Lira, durante declaração após entrega da medida provisória que trata da privatização da Eletrobrás.

Um dia depois de o Fórum Nacional de Governadores pedir explicações ao Ministério da Saúde sobre a redução do número de doses de vacinas para combater o novo coronavírus  (covid-19) previstas para março, os presidentes da Câmara dos Deputados, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), e do Senado, Rodrigo Pacheco (DEM-MG), cobraram do ministro Eduardo Pazuello, que em 24 horas informe sobre o cronograma de vacinação apresentado aos senadores em sessão temática na Casa no dia 4.

A previsão era de que o ministério distribuísse em março – só da vacina  Oxford-AstraZeneca, produzida na Fiocruz – 16,9 milhões de doses. Mas a quantidade caiu para 3,8 milhões. Ontem (8), depois de uma reunião na sede da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz), no Rio de Janeiro, com governadores, o ministro da Saúde atribuiu o atraso a uma uma falha técnica em uma máquina de lacre da embalagem da vacina.

Em ofício enviado a Pazuello, Lira e Pacheco fizeram quatro perguntas ao ministro. Eles querem saber se o cronograma foi alterado e, em caso afirmativo, quais foram as razões para isso e quais os principais obstáculos enfrentados no momento para que o cronograma vigente seja cumprido.

Os parlamentares também querem saber se o ministério tem informações a respeito do cronograma de produção nacional de vacinas pela Fiocruz e pelo Instituto Butantan. Em caso afirmativo, quais seriam as datas para o envio de vacinas, pelas referidas instituições, ao governo federal.

Sobre a aquisição de Insumo Farmacêutico Ativo (IFA), os parlamentares querem saber há calendário para sua aquisição, por parte do governo federal, de outros países, e se há o risco de falta dessa matéria-prima, além dos maiores entraves para que a pasta faça a aquisição e importação do produto.

“Considerando a urgência que nos impõe a pandemia ocasionada pela disseminação do vírus SARS-CoV-2 e a crescente taxa de óbitos por dia em decorrência da Covid-19, solicitamos a presteza de V. Exa. no sentido de encaminhar as informações acima requeridas no prazo de 24 horas, a fim de que as Casas do Congresso Nacional possam adotar as providências cabíveis no combate à pandemia”, diz o ofício.
